Thanksgiving or not the weather was too nice to not get out on the water here in SEPA. It wasn’t a long outing, just 2 hours or so at my local Class A water. The water was running about 50CFS which isnt low nor the best. I love fishing this stream when it’s about 80CFS….

Berks stream hiking
Did a little trail hiking this morning in berks county. A familiar stream by most as it has a strong reputation. Didn’t do any fishing but this stream will be getting an official visit in the next week or two along with an official report.
Local preserve
Started exploring a local preserve and boy are they pretty. This one contains a Class A stream as well as a tributary that holds wild browns. The best thing about fishing these areas in the evening is not only for the fish but also the prevalent wildlife.
