Alot of people don’t realize the benefit of fishing after a good rain. We got 3 inches last night and come morning the SEPA streams were looking mighty fine. This one in particular was up and dirty running at 70CFS.
I grabbed my streamer rod and headed out. I used the same streamer all day, a size 4-6 black zonker. I missed handfuls of fish in the 3 hours I was out but also landed two nice fish at 15 inches. My two best wild browns this year. I will say that fishing high and dirty wild trout water is my new favorite technique.
