I did some fishing in the morning and then met up with Andrew in the afternoon to take him to a stream he’s never fished before. Its one of the local limestoners in the area and has a pretty decent wild brown trout population.
The water was around 90CFS and had a sort of rusty stain to it. It looked very dark and tannic like. REgardless that didnt stop the fishing but only helped. We were purposely throwing little streamers in the right spots to try to get reaction strikes, and it was working. However we rolled twice as many fish a we caught. We were either just anxiously pulling it out of their mouth or they were short striking.
The few hours we fished wasnt too exciting, although we did come across a goose egg nest.
On to the fishy pics.
