In the attempt to take advantage of this weekends good weather I decided to take a hike up into the mountains and check out tributary or two to the Lehigh river. Today was extremely foggy, which is always a treat when driving the turn pike.
We arrived at the Gorge and started taking the trail up. It was pretty intense, steep inclines, wet rocks and constant death drops. It took about 45 minutes to hike from the bottom of the mountain to the top. During this time there were multiple waterfalls that were seen.
There were some definite fishy looking pools that ive captured below. However if there are any trout in this water they would not be much more then a few inches long at best. All in all it was a nice day to be out walking through the mountains.
